About this policy
This policy explains what personal data StackedGamer collects, why, how long we keep it, and what you can do about it. StackedGamer decides how this data is used. For anything about your data, email [email protected].
What we collect
- Steam: your Steam ID and profile name when you sign in, and whether your Steam account is limited. If you import them, your Steam library and wishlist.
- Wallets: the addresses you link or pay from, and which ones can sign in.
- Purchases and sales: your cart, orders, the keys you buy or list, reviews, and disputes, including messages and the screenshots you upload.
- Free ETH: if you claim it, the address we sent it to, the amount, and when, and whether you’re in our Steam group.
- Selling: your seller application, seller name, contact email, and payout address.
- Optional: a contact email, and your Telegram chat if you connect it for notifications.
- Technical: cookies that keep you signed in, and your browser stores which wallet you connected. Our server and Cloudflare log requests, including IP addresses, to keep the site secure. We use your country, as Cloudflare reports it, to show offers that work there; we don’t store it.
What we don’t collect
We never ask for your real name, ID documents, card or bank details, Steam password, or your wallet’s recovery phrase or keys. We don’t use analytics, ads, or tracking cookies.
Why we use it
- To run the marketplace for you: sign-in, checkout, delivering keys, paying sellers, refunds, disputes, and notifications.
- To keep the marketplace safe: preventing fraud, enforcing purchase limits and restrictions, and securing the site.
- To keep records of purchases, sales, and disputes, and to resolve problems or claims about them.
What’s public
Orders, reviews, seller names, and sales histories are public, as described in the terms. Buyers are never named, and your Steam details are never shown. Payments on Base are public and permanent: anyone can see the addresses and amounts involved, and no one, including us, can delete them.
How long we keep it
- Your account data, for as long as you have an account.
- Read notifications, 30 days after you read them.
- Server logs, about 14 days. Database backups, up to 30 days.
- When you delete your account, we delete your sessions, contact email, Telegram connection, Steam library and wishlist, Steam group check, cart, notifications, seller application, Steam profile name, and linked wallets that no purchase or sale uses. We keep your purchases, sales, disputes, reviews, free ETH claims, and restrictions, linked to your Steam ID, as transaction records and to prevent fraud, and messages our staff sent you, as a record of what we told you. A seller’s payout address stays with their past sales, and their seller name is replaced with “Deleted seller”.
Your rights
You can download everything we hold about your account, or delete it, from your account page. You can also ask us to correct your data, restrict or object to how we use it, or explain anything in this policy, by emailing [email protected].
If you’re in the EU, you can also complain to the data protection authority in your country.
Security
The site only works over encrypted connections, keys are stored encrypted and shown only to the seller who listed them, the buyer who paid for them, and, during a dispute, our support team. Payments stay in a public smart contract, not with us.
Children
StackedGamer isn’t meant for children under 16, and we don’t knowingly collect their data.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version, and we’ll let account holders know about important changes before they apply.
